About The Position

LIDD is a leading supply chain management consulting firm. We design complex distribution centers and logistics systems to help companies move goods more efficiently. Our clients are manufacturers, distributors and retailers, including many brand names in food & beverage and consumer goods. From our offices in Montreal, Toronto, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Seoul, our staff of over 130 employees tackle challenging projects in a fun and supportive environment.
Our Consultants in supply chain help design world-class distribution operations. Working with partners, directors, and project managers, you will participate in:
Auditing operations and recommending improvements in process, layout and software;
Designing and building manufacturing and distribution facilities;
Configuring and supporting software systems that run supply chains.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, software, science or a related field
• Be able to travel within Canada and the United States up to 20% of the time
• Excellent written and spoken English and/or French and/or Spanish
• Programming experience
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• A demonstrated interest in supply chain management and logistics
• Strong analytical and logical/mathematical problem-solving capabilities
• Superior verbal and written communication and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and quality
• Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously with guidance
• Comfort working independently in an ambiguous environment with pressing deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AutoCAD
• Experience with supply chain related software or businesses
• Experience with database management and programming
• Experience with financial analysis

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document and calculate logistics and business operations data
• Model business processes to develop innovative recommendations for clients
• Develop scripts that enhance applications, interfaces and reports
• Build custom reports and KPIs from multiple software systems
• Communicate technical analyses to project teams and clients clearly and concisely
• Write training documentation for clients
• Attend client-facing meetings
• Travel to client sites to measure buildings and facilities
• Coordinating resources in multiple locations to respond to Salesforce support tickets
