In this vital Supply Chain Associate role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of quality related records and documentation at Amgen's Louisville Distribution Center (LDC). The Supply Chain Associate ensures compliance that all work is completed per GxP and all Amgen policies and regulations. What your day-to-day will look like: Ensure current GxP compliance Manage quality records related to distribution and transportation activities Collects, processes and reports outs data and KPI related to cold chain, transportation and vendor performance Ensure that timeline targets are achieved Supports root cause analysis and performance analysis and risk assessment, helps support action plans to improve or mitigate risk with departments involved. Collaborate with 3rd party transportation service providers to ensure needed information related to quality records is obtained Contribute to track & trace and intercept & return processes Apply Operational Excellence or Lean methodologies to everyday work as appropriate Complete all required trainings on time Prepare for and support regulatory inspections and audits as needed Revise, update, review and approve controlled documents as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of Supply Chain or Operations experience OR Associate’s degree and 4 years of Supply Chain or Operations experience OR High school diploma / GED and 6 years of Supply Chain or Operations experience

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of Pharmaceutical industry requirements (GMP, GDP, DOT, IATA & Import/Export)
  • Experience and understanding of quality and regulatory requirements within pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to liaise/communicate effectively and easily with cross-functional teams and different cultures (verbal & written communication skills)
  • Experienced with data diagnostics, discovery, modeling, and visualization (i.e., Tableau, Excel)
  • Self-leadership and motivation
  • Problem solver with high sense of responsibility to achieve results
  • Serves as a role model for Amgen Values
