About The Position

Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Supply Chain Management) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Fort Walton Beach, FL. Position Responsibilities: A self-starter who demonstrates a willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for one's actions. Exhibits a moral, legal or mental accountability in areas of responsibility. Analyzes post-production data and applies Supply Chain principles to optimize inventory management practices and procedures, reduce costs due to inventory surplus/shortages, and improve overall supply chain efficiency Identifies and resolves customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies Analyzes supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performs assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area. This includes the ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance. Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence and unplanned emergent issues Analyzes material location and initiates redistribution action Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders Processes documentation associated with repair items, warranty claims and material returned from customers

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
• 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, Supply Chain Planning and/or Production Control
• 1+ years of experience have with organizing, planning, facilitating, and executing customer logistics
• 1+ years of experience working with forecasting, Supply Chain Software Systems, Supply Chain modeling & Simulation tools, and ERP Systems
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field; or equivalent work or military experience
• 1+ years of experience with Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP)
• 1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain, Logistics or Material Management Services (MMS)

Responsibilities
