About The Position

Position is responsible for managing customer schedules throughout the production work flow along with performing customer service duties. Requirements

  • Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point - Advanced skills required, Outlook etc.)
  • Administrative support of sales and/or scheduling functions
  • Successfully demonstrated customer relationship management
  • Proficient in multi-tasking and project management
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must possess a strong knowledge of Excel

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer schedules and lead times.
  • Reviews production schedules to assure maximum program continuity and balanced utilization of manufacturing capability.
  • Coordinates scheduling activities with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Purchasing and shop; advises of hold orders, cancellations, reactivation, or other matters having impact on manufacturing commitments.
  • Adjusts, integrates and balances scheduling variables to assure compliance with contract delivery terms and conditions.
  • Performs shop follow-up and expediting assignments.
  • Investigate and determine root cause issues, work with supervisors to resolve schedule issues and keep updated on progress.
  • Works with internal and external customers and suppliers to resolve issues & inform on updates and delays.
  • Participate in and administratively interact with internal teams on a regular basis to ensure timely response to customers/prospects on projects / orders.
  • Generate & analyze daily, weekly, monthly production reports
  • Manage, input and route customer orders and forecast into the ERP system.
  • Process and assure corrective actions are created for all RMA’s / returns / DMF’s with assistance from proper internal teams.
