About The Position

The Supply Chain Analyst will report to the Supply Chain Manager and play a key role in supporting supply chain analysis, planning, procurement, and inventory management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly within a fast-paced, dynamic environment characterized by fluctuating product demand. This position is based at Silvus Technologies’ headquarters in the heart of vibrant West Los Angeles, CA, and is on a hybrid schedule; a minimum of 3 days onsite per week is expected. On-site days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with proficiency in numeracy and working with formulas.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and make high-impact operational decisions.
  • Ability to efficiently analyze multiple scenarios to support risk/benefit assessments and informed decision-making.
  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment with multiple competing deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including VLOOKUP, subtotals, macros, and other analytical tools.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.
  • All employment is contingent upon the successful clearance of a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of product structures, manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and their interdependencies.
  • Independently analyze requirements and forecasts to suggest procurement and inventory strategies with significant financial and operational impact.
  • Exercise independent judgment in establishing purchasing priorities and authorizing purchase orders within delegated financial authority.
  • Generate month-end inventory, cost of goods sold, supplier spend, planning and forecasting and other reports as needed.
  • Lead supplier engagement, including quote evaluation, negotiation strategy, contract terms recommendations, and performance management. Expedite as needed and escalate critical issues.
  • Oversee supplier performance metrics and collaborate with the Quality team to implement corrective actions.
  • Apply strong analytical and advanced spreadsheet skills to plan requirements and forecasts in a non-ERP/MRP environment.
  • Independently evaluate and adjust procurement plans in response to changes in demand, supply constraints, and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with Warehouse, Shipping, Production, Quality, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure alignment of supply strategies and avoid disruptions such as line down or missed shipments.
  • Work closely with the Warehousing team to oversee and review inventory accuracy, review and resolve discrepancies, and support physical inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team and suppliers to resolve accounts payable discrepancies.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to suggest supply chain strategies and other process improvements.
  • Perform other analytical or strategic supply-chain related duties as assigned by leads/managers to support the team as necessary.
