As a Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll operate at the intersection of technical operations and business strategy — negotiating with suppliers, leveraging analytics to improve purchase price variance (PPV), streamlining procurement performance metrics, material planning and supporting efficiency & automation initiatives. This role requires a strong bias for action & sense of urgency, analytical capability, attention to regulatory requirements, and the ability to collaborate across Supply Chain, operations, finance, engineering, and quality teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related technical field.
  • 0-2 years of professional experience in supply chain, procurement, or manufacturing with demonstrated results in strategic initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable business decisions.
  • Negotiation experience and confidence in working with suppliers on cost, terms, and process improvement.
  • Strong skills in Excel, ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred) and a passion for automation and digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, DD254, and ITAR requirements
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a “U.S. Person” as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS procurement regulations, including flow-down requirements.
  • Support DD254 compliance for classified or defense-related procurements.
  • Work with suppliers to meet ITAR and export control requirements.
  • Negotiate competitive pricing, contract terms, and supplier agreements that achieve favorable PPV.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive innovation, solve technical challenges, and ensure world-class delivery performance.
  • Lead supplier performance reviews and execute improvement plans where needed.
  • Turn production schedules and demand forecasts into actionable, cost-optimized material strategies.
  • Analyze and track purchasing KPIs to spot trends, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver results.
  • Influence sourcing decisions using engineering logic, business modeling, and risk analysis.
  • Analyze MRP/ERP reports and define procurement plans to satisfy demand.
  • Track supplier delivery schedules and mitigate risks to program timelines.
  • Help maintain and improve material shortage/tracking reports for better visibility of material risks.
  • Contribute to projects exploring automation and digitization in procurement using tools like Ai , and workflow automation processes.
  • Participate in analysis of outsourcing/insourcing opportunities.
  • Interface with engineering, finance, quality, logistics and operations teams to ensure alignment on production schedules and inventory targets.
