About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Manager to join our team located in New Orleans, LA! Position Responsibilities: Manages employees and first-level managers performing supplier quality activities to ensure that suppliers' production and quality systems, special processes, products and services meet purchase contract requirements and applicable regulatory agency and government regulations. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve supplier performance. Provides education and coaching on the Quality System. Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)
  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 10+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing
  • 5+ years of experience working with Defense contracts
  • 10+ years of experience in data analysis and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required

Nice To Haves

  • Currently hold quality auditor certification from an industry recognized certifying course
  • Experience in program planning, project management
  • Experience performing compliance monitoring and policy assessments/audits
  • Experience conducting site regulatory compliance audits
  • Experience in determining and executing strategic/tactical direction
