Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Quality Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in quality, reliability or product engineering.
- 4 years of experience in SSD manufacturing processes.
- Experience with hardware in industries such as servers, automotive, or aerospace.
- Experience with SSD technologies, including SSD test processes.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time as required.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or a related engineering field.
- 12 years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or product engineering for hardware technology and systems.
- Experience in technical leadership, project management, and executive communication.
- Experience with Dynamic Random-Access Memory (DRAM) technology.
Responsibilities
- Apply Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) fundamentals and collaborate with teams to help them understand and apply RCCA tools and principles and analyze or understand failure to resolve issues.
- Define and execute data collection activities for technical issues.
- Drive process design, optimization, and qualification activities of a manufacturing process for a component, part, or product.
- Own the supplier quality and reliability for Solid-State Drive (SSD) components, from New Product Introduction (NPI) through end-of-life.
- Develop and implement advanced quality plans and process controls (e.g., Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), Capability Process Index (CPK), etc.) to mitigate risks.
