Job Description Summary Position Responsibilities: Supplier Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment with the company's strategic initiatives. Communicate supplier commitments, updates, and market conditions to internal stakeholders. Documentation and Record Keeping: Prepare and draft contracts, agreements, and commitments with suppliers. Maintain accurate records of all supplier interactions, commitments, and performance metrics. Project Management: Coordinate between departments to understand organizational needs and translate these into actionable supplier projects. Monitor project progress from inception to completion, ensuring all deadlines and quality standards are met. Market Analysis: Regularly analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to inform procurement strategies. Report on market status to influence decision-making within the company. Performance Monitoring: Evaluate supplier performance against agreed KPIs and manage any necessary interventions or escalations. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of supplier activities into company operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 0-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related area.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to interact with all levels of management throughout the company.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis.
  • Basic understanding of contract law and negotiation tactics.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Process orientation and the ability to multi-task and to work within short timelines required.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel, as well as sit or stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to procurement software or ERP systems and experience with Power BI a plus.
  • Familiarity with the equipment rental industry or similar sectors.
  • Certification in project management or procurement (e.g., PMP, CPSM) is a plus.
