About The Position

Working closely with our Head of Supplier Diversity, Cost Center Directors, and senior leadership across the USA, the Supplier Diversity Program Manager will be responsible to support the growth of the US Supplier Diversity Program within Turner & Townsend, in accordance with internal and external policy and procedures, including client support, direction, guidance, on regional or national projects and programs. Manage the continued development and delivery of Supplier Diversity strategies, programs, and initiatives to advance opportunities for diverse suppliers, internally, and externally for clients, as needed. Ensure alignment with best practices for an inclusive approach to the sourcing of diverse-owned businesses, support equity through partner utilization of services, products, and business affiliations. Proactively identify opportunities for diverse suppliers- key activities include identification, capability and capacity review, qualification assessment, and inclusion of diverse suppliers in business opportunities (e.g., development opportunities, pilots, etc.). Work closely with the CBRE Supplier Engagement team to leverage resources and share information for greater client engagement and business opportunities. Develop partner utilization analysis and reporting Drive program results, by analyzing performance relative to internal and external benchmarks, and meet all reporting requirements based on program metrics and related data strategies. Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with partner organizations, identifying mutually beneficial opportunities to increase engagement, foster connections and increase community presence. Provide regional and national support to project teams. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on initiatives, procurement activities, RFP's, contract management, and overall compliance related to Supplier Diversity requirements. Monitor compliance as it relates to Owner/Client requirements, including and not limited to tracking progress towards goals, data entry, diverse business payment tracking, and related issues and concerns. Utilize data tracking tools to enhance the pool of diverse contractors in the system, track progress against goals on specific projects; track Turner and Townsend’s diverse spend, utilization, and performance; support team members in the use of data tools to identify diverse partners. Collaborate regularly with business stakeholders to gather risk parameters, performance metrics, and conduct industry research for benchmarking supplier metrics. Represent the business by participating on boards and committees and providing thought leadership to key organizations within the regions such as the NMSDC, WBENC, and various regional business organizations in construction related industries. Work with the Director to develop a Capacity-Building program (i.e. - Mentor-Protégé program); partner with cross functional teams to manage technical capacity building program, Mentor-protégé relationships, other trade partner development programs, and pipeline development (increasing pool of small and diverse firms). SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in a public sector or corporate environment preferably in the areas of supplier inclusion and engagement, procurement and supplier management, corporate strategy, program management, or related fields

Nice To Haves

  • Specific experience with supplier/subcontractor relations and diversity outreach within a geographical market, a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of supplier diversity best practices and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction process.
