About The Position

The Supplier Delivery & Development specialist plays a critical role in maintaining the health of the supply base, as measured by key performance indicators such as Supplier Delivery Schedule (SDS) compliance, Delivery Rating Verification (DRIVe) score, and the Global External Balanced Scorecard (EBSC). Additionally, the team leads quarterly initiatives targeting supplier performance improvements and actively pursuing internal and external continuous improvement opportunities to support best-in-class customer service. This role will also be responsible for managing and resolving supplier tooling capacity shortages to reduce the risk of shortfalls in service stock levels. This position requires strong strategic thinking and leadership skills to address capacity issues and implement resolutions. Competencies in many systems and interacting across several different functional areas will be required. This includes internal areas such as Purchasing, Supplier Delivery Risk Management, Supplier Quality, Product Planning, Logistics, Global Convergence and Engineering, as well as working closely with external suppliers. Leading cross functional projects and managing business case solutions will be required to resolve current issues and to proactively identify potential opportunities. Creation and execution of risk mitigation activities using strong logic and problem-solving skills will also be expected.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required

Responsibilities

  • Supplier training and onboarding (new and resourced suppliers)

  • Manage and resolve supplier tooling capacity shortages to prevent service inventory shortfalls

  • Collaborate across multiple internal functions—Purchasing, Supplier Delivery Risk Management, Quality, Planning, Logistics, Engineering and with external suppliers
  • Lead cross functional projects, develop business case solutions, and proactively identify improvement opportunities
  • Create and execute risk mitigation plans using strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills within Mopar Supply Chain’s Supplier & Capacity Management team
  • Other duties as needed to support supplier management activities
