About The Position

Lincoln Electric has an outstanding opportunity for a Supplier Assistant Coordinator based at our Euclid, Ohio manufacturing headquarters. Working within our Materials & Special Projects department, the Supplier Assistant Coordinator will support Cleveland Equipment's quality and operations initiatives by managing non-conforming materials, coordinating with suppliers, and handling material movements.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; further training or education preferred.
  • 1 (or more) years profesional experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Access, Word, and GlobalLinc.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to on-time delivery.
  • Ability to work well with all organizational levels, as well as external suppliers and customers.
  • Demonstrates initiative and can work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Ability to lift and move products occasionally, similar to material handling.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Lincoln products and systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Enter non-conforming materials in SAP, ensuring clear descriptions by Quality/Production.
  • Communicate with suppliers to resolve non-conforming materials.
  • Execute the Return to Supplier program as needed.
  • Transact material movements in SAP.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, manufacturers, subsidiaries, and cross-functional teams within Lincoln Electric.
  • Resolve issues as they arise.
