About The Position

The Supervisory Senior performs a wide variety of diversified business and client services under the supervision of different professionals. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing expert financial advice and solutions to our clients. Supervisory Seniors must be able to maintain their assigned workload in an efficient, effective, and timely manner while adhering to professional standards. Supervisory Seniors will also provide guidance, coaching, and leadership to others as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6+ years of experience in accounting.
  • Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong analytical and basic research skills.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and the ability to apply accounting standards to basic financial statements.
  • Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Capable of managing multiple and/or conflicting tasks with proficient organizational and time management skills.
  • Possess a positive attitude, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Team player with an ability to interact effectively with staff of all levels within the firm.
  • Continually enhance and develop industry knowledge and experience.
  • Complete minimum required continuing professional education.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience in Construction, Energy & Natural Resources, Healthcare, High Net-Worth Family Office, Non-Profit, or Real Estate is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain general accounting systems to provide records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
  • Prepare and reconcile various financial statements, including consolidated income statements and balance sheets.
  • Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures and deliverables in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proven experience with journal entries, account reconciliations, trend analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment.
  • Effectively communicates (written and verbally) with clients and peers as needed.
  • Attends and participates in professional education/training sessions.
  • Perform administrative duties as needed.
  • Background in performing or supporting audit functions.
