Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Manufacturing, Engineering, related fields, or equivalent experience
  • Experience leading work cells and teams
  • Knowledge of plant operations
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Leadership ability
  • Outstanding organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead a culture of Safety within the workplace
  • Ensure all operations are carried on in a safe, appropriate, cost-effective way
  • Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices
  • Hold the shift and/or area accountable for standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identifying potential problems and points of friction and finding solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue
  • Develops and recommends improvements of facilities, equipment, or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Ensure products are produced on time and are of good quality
  • Drive operational excellence and process optimization
  • Perform quality controls and monitor/report production KPIs
  • Lead and motivate employees through positive encouragement, training, and coaching
  • Establish and maintain a well-motivated team including training, supporting, and developing each team member.
  • Other duties as assigned
