About The Position
DirectHire We are seeking an experienced Screen Print Production Manager to lead a brand-new 2nd shift team. This role requires a hands-on leader with proven expertise in screen-printing and a track record of supervising production teams. What We’re Looking For: Minimum 3+ years of experience in screen-printing, including press operation, pre-press, reclaim, ink/color theory, on-press techniques, and quality control. Minimum 4+ years of experience supervising a team in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Strong problem-solving skills, quality orientation, and attention to detail. Experience with screen-print equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, work orders, and production documents. Basic math skills for calculating production times, material usage, and costs. Verifiable work history demonstrating reliability and relevant skills.

Responsibilities
- Operate both automatic and manual screen-printing presses to produce high-quality prints.
- Assist in all areas of production as needed.
- Review work orders to determine print times and address workflow concerns.
- Inspect and approve press setups, continually monitor operations for color reproduction, registration, and print quality.
- Maintain proper inventory levels of supplies and materials.
- Report production delays to management.
- Lead and supervise a high-performing production team through effective training, motivation, and communication.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and unexpected challenges to keep production on track.
