Join Oshkosh Aerotech as a Supervisor, responsible for overseeing daily operations, team scheduling, safety management, productivity, and material coordination. You'll provide hands-on guidance and training to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction while promoting a strong safety culture. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented leader with excellent organizational skills who can effectively support operational management and continually improve processes. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid Driver’s License required.
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience
  • 1-3 years of supervisory or team lead experience
  • Availability for on-call support and work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badge

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial technology, or related field
  • Prior experience in airport baggage handling, airline ground operations, or facility maintenance in a 24/7 operational environment
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and email systems.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily team operations, including scheduling, work orders, safety, productivity, material coordination, and employee relations.
  • Provide direct support, guidance, and on-the-job training to team members.
  • Foster strong working relationships to enhance team and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote a culture of safety by leading new employee safety training and conducting quality control inspections on maintenance activities.
  • Support Operational Managers in monitoring and improving operational performance.
  • Develop and maintain processes and documentation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Participate in shift handovers, team briefings, recruiting efforts, and performance reviews.
  • Participate in scheduled and ad-hoc meetings, training sessions, airport tours, and audits.
