About The Position

Responsibilities Supervises and coordinates the daily operations for inpatient and outpatient wound care and hyperbaric services. In addition, will be responsible for the assessment, evaluation, and treatment of patients, specifically those with acute and/or chronic wounds, and education as well as management of fistulae, tubes, skin, and incontinence issues. Works in conjunction with physicians, nursing staff and ancillary staff to evaluate, propose, plan and perform patient assessment and treatments. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree Required and Master’s degree in Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Required or Doctoral Degree (Ph.D.) in Nursing, Physical Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Required Work Experience 3 years of clinical experience in wound or ostomy care and management Preferred Experience with scheduling, projects to improve quality, and provided leadership roles Required Licenses and Certifications Current licensure in the State of Georgia as a healthcare professional Upon Hire Required BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS certification through AHA Upon Hire Required CWS - Certified Wound Specialist Preferred CWOCN - Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse Preferred Business Unit : Company Name Piedmont Cartersville

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
