About The Position

Lead a team of 7-9 Urology Coders, collaborating with other E/M supervisors to ensure accurate and efficient coding processes. Oversee daily report preparation, manage surgical coding tasks, and work closely with 40-50 urology providers and surgeons.

Requirements

• 5 years of Urology Coding experience.
• 5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in medical coding, specifically in Urology.
• Certifications: CPC, CPSP, Medical Coding certifications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 7-9 Urology Coders.
• Collaborate with E/M supervisors on coding processes.
• Prepare and review daily reports, focusing on surgical coding tasks.
• Verify the accuracy of coding and provide guidance where necessary.
• Interact with 40-50 urology providers and surgeons.
• Engage in leveling and management tasks.
