We’ve got work for the next 100 years - All we need is you!   As a Traffic Control Supervisor-Estimator you will provide leadership and direction to construction crews. You will be generally accountable for all aspects of each project to which your crews are assigned (including safety, quality and productivity); functions as an advocate and role model for our Leadership Principles and Culture of Personal Responsibility. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum 5 years’ Traffic Control experience
  • Certified OSHA Competent Person; OSHA 10, OSHA 30 completion preferred
  • ATSSA, TCS, and TCT preferred
  • Proven track record for successfully managing a team, mentoring and training new employees
  • Strong understanding of cost principles, blueprints, and traffic control standards 
  • Develop value-driven proposals and identify new opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to plan the execution of project work
  • Build relationships with clients and subcontractors, obtaining competitive quotes and discussing project requirements
  • Formulate competitive proposals, strategize on target work, and work with management on pricing
  • Calculate costs for cones, signs, barriers, flagging, and other devices; assess labor hours and equipment needs
  • Prepare estimates used for internal planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, including cash flow analysis for large projects
  • Prepare cost reports, bid summaries, and potentially design/layout diagrams for traffic control devices
  • Communicate project updates daily
  • Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
