About The Position

As a member of the Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of dining room employees engaged in providing courteous and rapid service to diners by performing the following duties. Our employees represent the Broadmoor brand and are Ambassadors of our Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond Standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
The employee is occasionally required to lift/pull/push up to 100 pounds.
Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong interpersonal communication skills

Experience as a Sommelier preferred

Responsibilities

Oversees shift operations in The Penrose Room offering fine dining service
Trains and monitors dining room employees for excellent service.
Schedules dining room staff to ensure service delivery
Checks reservations for special parties and verifies complete instructions for said parties.
Presents menu to the guest, offers recommendations and description for the purpose of assisting and upselling the menu.
Assists waitstaff in retrieving items from the kitchen and bar, serving when necessary.
Assists the bartender as needed.
Adjusts complaints regarding food or service.
Ensure station and sidework are complete prior to staff leaving.
Responsible for the training and orientation of new employees.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
