On this team, individual will facilitate & monitor the Change Control process used by various development teams as they deliver content to the US restaurants. In this role, the individual will clarify expectations, apply relevant standards and best-practices to craft and develop innovative process solutions to support our deployment services team. This will be a collaborative role and will work with the Consumer & Company Platform Team to ensure consistency of product and integration of standard methodologies. You’ll collaborate with McDonald’s vendors and various internal teams. The preferred candidate will have a solid background in coordinating change control processes, software development lifecycle (SDLC), Incident / Problem Management (ITIL), and effective organization management, demonstrating best practices in all methodologies. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Software Development Lifecycle and/or IT Project Management.
  • Proven experience in change control and project management.
  • Experience communicating and working with cross-functional teams & leadership.
  • Experience working with Incident / Problem Management processes.
  • Exceptional demonstration of teamwork skills.
  • Proficient capabilities in planning, presenting, and prioritizing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
  • Proficient process management & process design skills.
  • Working knowledge of project management applications (Jira, Smartsheet is a plus).
  • Experience with business intelligence and data formatting tools (PowerBI is a plus).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is a plus.
  • Change Management certification is desirable.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the procedure for managing changes, ensuring all changes are detailed, reviewed, and approved in accordance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with various groups and external entities to manage and implement changes and deployments effectively.
  • Monitor and report on the impact of changes, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Identify and support process innovation by identifying efficiency opportunities and leveraging tools that support end users.
  • Ensure CCP projects & tasks are finished on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, tasks and changes.
  • Craft documentation for internal processes, standard methodologies, and other knowledge sharing materials to share with collaborators.
  • Be the main connection for internal and external customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong connections with key collaborators to secure alignment and backing for initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with partners to keep them informed of progress and changes.
  • Identify & track performance metrics to measure the success of company and consumer management initiatives.
  • Prepare and present regular reports & dashboards on performance, changes, and project status to senior leadership.
  • Apply data-driven insights to offer benefits through recommendations and support continuous improvement.
