The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible for the direction of all Quality Assurance functions in the manufacturing facility while ensuring the safety of our people, workplace and environment and meeting all company, legal and other requirements.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education (preferably in an engineering or science related discipline).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, planning and decision-making abilities.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a Manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Experience working in an ISO environment.
  • Excellent communication skills; both oral and written.
  • Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis methodology
  • Labor relations experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge of water treatment systems.
  • Must be able to lift 50 plus pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership for QA associates.
  • Responsible for Process monitoring and control.
  • Ensures that all work assessments and activities are in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensures that all corporate, franchise partners, regulatory, and legal requirements are met and maintained.
  • Maintains Quality, Food Safety, Environmental, Health & Safety standards.
  • Conduct internal audits.
  • Maintains facility pre-requisite programs.
  • Establishes operational procedures.
  • Partners with internal customers to achieve facility objectives.
  • Vendor scheduling and performance management
  • Ensures that all processing and lab equipment are in good operating order.
  • Manages costs
  • Additional responsibilities as required.
