Job Description: Primary Duties: Develop and implement supplier quality standards and metrics to ensure compliance with engineering and customer requirements. Lead supplier audits and qualification processes, collaborating with procurement and engineering teams to approve new suppliers. Monitor supplier performance through data analysis, identify trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions. Resolve supplier-related quality issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective measures. Partner with internal teams (Engineering, Production, Procurement) to address quality concerns and support product reliability. Prepare and present supplier quality reports and KPIs to leadership. Manage and coach Quality Analysts, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and professional development. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluate performance of direct reports. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline; 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or quality systems management, including 2+ years in a leadership role; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Supplier Quality Professional (CSQP). Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher. Experience with ISO 9001, auditing, and statistical process control. Essential Mental and Physical Functions: Strong understanding of quality management systems and supplier quality principles. Ability to lead audits and assess supplier compliance. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment: Office and manufacturing environments with exposure to seasonal temperature changes, dust, and noise. Occasional travel to supplier facilities. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
