About The Position

Reports to the Manager, Student Recruitment Shared Services. Responsible for leading a team of recruiters to provide critical student recruitment support to MTC Job Corps Centers and for recruiting the most qualified and best suited students in compliance with government and management directives. Responsible for managing service provided to enhance the customer experience, operational discipline and company-wide areas of scalability and efficiency, performance improvement and service enhancement and in compliance with government and management directives. This is an in-office position at our Headquarters in Centerville, UT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, communications, marketing or related field.
  • Four years’ management or equivalent experience; one year experience in a multi-disciplinary service center process model is preferred.
  • Must have knowledge and experience using Microsoft 365 Office Suite and/or personal computer systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for broad and deep range of positions for multiple locations.
  • Must be willing and able to travel.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and project management skills.
  • Unless waived by management, valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Manage regional student recruiters to ensure timely support of student application processing for MTC Job Corps Centers, to include prospective student outreach, application processing, background submission, quality control of file and file sent to center.
  • Coordinate with MTC Job Corps Centers, MTC leadership, and DOL personnel to ensure efficient operations including contract compliance, audits, and assessments.
  • Establish plans, procedures, systems, goals, and objectives to ensure Job Corps Outreach & Admissions contract compliance and achievement of DOL established outcomes.
  • Establish goals for staff within the parameters of the overall contract goals; develop action plans to assist staff in meeting established goals.
  • Assist in the selection, onboarding, training and development, performance management, retention, and succession of the Services Team.
  • Stay current with center statistics and maintain continuous contact with the centers to coordinate efforts, discuss problems and develop resolutions.
  • Maintain and analyze key student recruiting metrics as they relate to recruitment performance at the company, division, regional and center level.
  • Develop, maintain, and publish key student recruiting reports to assist corporate leaders and facilities to monitor their recruitment performance.
  • Provide talent acquisition training to student recruiting staff and develop best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation regarding the entire recruitment process to include pre-screening, interviews and enrollment decisions. Ensure full compliance with company and government recordkeeping requirements.
  • Ensure full compliance with MTC and government recordkeeping requirements.
  • Assist in creating an environment that encourages customer service, teamwork, process ownership, innovation, accountability and internal growth.
  • Assist in communicating Shared Services vision and processes to varied levels across the organization.
  • Assist in the collection of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) related to the Shared Services Team for the assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Assist in process improvement for the assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Assist in the Shared Services strategy for providing a best-in-class customer experience, assist in designing service level agreements, meeting service level agreements and driving operational performance metrics.
  • Support the communication, adherence and rollout of programs and policies within the services team.
  • Assist in delivering on service requirements within budget and resources parameters; implement adequate controls, audits, and assign appropriate accountability for cost managements and transparency.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to improve staff performance and capabilities and identify training needs; develop staff in technical and soft skills.
  • Assist in gathering feedback and utilizing data to identify, surface, and act on opportunities to enhance effectiveness, culture, and morale of teams while balancing interests of the individual, team and company.
  • Work closely with other members of the management team ensuring the Shared Services Strategy is aligned with business objectives.

  • It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
