About The Position

The Snowmaking Supervisor will provide strategic direction and leadership to build a strong team execute for snowmaking during the production season maintain and upgrading equipment the reminder of the season, this position will also ensure adherence to all safety protocols financial budgets and leadership development of the entire snowmaking team.

• At least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety and training, and management of snowmakers during winter snowmaking operations.
• Will oversee the proper installation and maintenance of snowmaking equipment.
• Lead winter snowmaking operations.
• Problem solve various issues to ensure efficient and safe operations.
• Must be proactive and look for improvements in all aspects of the operation on a consistent basis.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all mandated policies, program in addition to managing operating and capital budgets.
• Responsible for the identification and development of talent and leadership on the snowmaking team.
• Responsible for the engagement, moral and welfare of the snowmaking team.
• Provide excellent and effective communication to department across the mountain and resort treating another departments as your 'internal guests'.
• Responsible for adding in hiring, scheduling and time & Labor.
• Other duties are assigned.
