Responsible for managing the preventative and corrective maintenance performed on all audio, video, film and laser equipment throughout the resort. This role involves managing all labor resources within the Show Systems department and ensuring safe work practices during maintenance tasks. The supervisor directs best practices for preventative and corrective maintenance, updates departmental processes for efficiency, and manages shift planning and scheduling. They support the Ride Reliability Team by developing and executing action plans to prevent downtimes related to audio, video, film, and laser equipment. Employee management duties include conducting staff meetings, coaching, mentoring, providing feedback, administering counseling, performance evaluations, and recognition. The supervisor is also responsible for ensuring safety and equipment training, developing safety plans, and maintaining accuracy in labor reporting, time and attendance, Maximo reporting, and the preventative maintenance system. Additional responsibilities include developing solutions for replacing deficient and obsolete equipment, contacting vendors and manufacturers for products and solutions, monitoring industry trends, and forecasting failures. The position requires active participation in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. The scope of the role covers the maintenance, repair, replacement, and upkeep of all audio/video equipment throughout the resort.
