1. Meets with school Principals to address roofing issues such as leaks gutters, roof replacements and roof appearances. 2. Supervises and train assigned staff, conducts performance evaluations, makes employment and discipline recommendations, and coordinates work assignments. 3. Conduct school roofing insprections and provide feedback to schools. 4. Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates roofing replacement and maintenance. Work with roofing personnel, schools, and service providers. 5. Reviews and monitors work performed by contractors and meets with contractors to resolve problems. Advises the Contract Services Supervisor on service issues and events. 6. Prepares and reviews monthly mainteance and roofing reports to quantify and verify productivity and cost compliance. Evaluates program efficiency and effectiveness. 7. Prepares operating budgets, authorizes and monitors expenses, and prepares fianancial reports and summaries. 8. Prepares and assists in preparation of reports, studies, and contract documents. 9. Reviews and provides input on district desgn guidelines, drawings, and specifications. 10. Assists in the development, review, implementation, and interpretation of departmental policies. 11. Prepares school roofing mainteance schedule to include adverse weather plan. 12. Performs other duties as assigned.
