As the Supervisor of RF Engineering, you'll oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the communication systems that enable APS to deliver safe, reliable, and resilient energy. From fiber optics to microwave WAN and SCADA systems, your leadership ensures the infrastructure that powers our grid stays strong, secure, and future-ready. What your day would be like: Lead and mentor a team of RF engineers and technicians supporting critical communication infrastructure. Oversee the planning, design, and maintenance of systems such as 900MHz FAN, Microwave WAN, MPLS, SCADA, Fiber Optics, and DC Power. Ensure compliance with Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) and cybersecurity standards. Manage projects, schedules, and resources to meet operational and reliability goals. Partner with cross-functional teams to align communication systems with business and grid requirements. Troubleshoot complex network and system issues, ensuring uptime and performance. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Who we're looking for: Proven Leader: Experience managing technical teams and driving results in RF, communications, or network engineering. Technical Expert: Strong knowledge of communication systems, networking hardware, and OT technologies including microwave, MPLS, SCADA, and fiber.
