Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to multi-task and work independently
  • comfortable interacting with people of diverse backgrounds, including individuals with trauma histories and mental illness
  • flexibility to work weekends and evenings.
  • Clean driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Work processing and data analysis software required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and coordinates research activities to include multiple site studies.
  • Develops, implements and evaluates recruitment strategies, information, data systems and study management systems.
  • Participates in the development, review and approval of study-specific procedure manuals and documents.
  • Supervises research staff.
  • May provide training on regulations, policies and practices related to human subject research.
  • Exercising independent technical judgement, coordinates the collection of psychological and biological data from families and children.
  • Oversee data management, entry, documentation, and scoring, and monitor the integrity of data collection for multiple projects.
  • Manage multiple research teams including full-time research staff, undergraduate students, and other lab members.
  • Plans, coordinates, and reviews work of lower-level staff.
  • Makes recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, terminations, and other personnel actions.
  • Develop protocols and generate reports for regulatory bodies.
  • Preparation of such written reports.
  • Responsible for compliance oversight and maintaining required certifications.
  • Liaison between multiple research teams to disseminate information and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee recruitment activities for studies to include organizing the lab for undergraduate involvement.
