This full time position will have oversight and rotate to multiple locations including JMA, Bethel, Waterfront and Brentwood offices. GENERAL OVERVIEW: Provides supervision of staff and area functions; serves as a physician liaison. Performs other duties as assigned. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform management responsibilities to include, but are not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity. Plan, organize, staff, direct and control the day-to-day operations of the department, develop and implement policies and programs as necessary; may have budgetary responsibility and authority. (50%) Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians and other departments. May provide patient care when necessary. (20%) Assures all documentation for procedures, e.g. regulatory, billing protocol, and imaging distribution. (20%) Implements radiation safety and patient safety standards.(10%) Performs other duties as assigned.
