About The Position

Under the general direction of the VP Operations directs, organizes, coaches, coordinates and evaluates administrative and clinical activities of all modalities in the Department of Radiology. May provide care for patients ranging in age from infancy through late adulthood. Job Description PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Meets all standards of the Patient Satisfaction Initiative Criteria in order to make Jefferson Health the hospital of choice for Patients and Employees. Provides operational oversight in accordance to the organization’s strategic goals to modality managers and staff to foster compliance with regulations and delivery of safe, high quality imaging services. Facilitates developing and operationalizing department goals designed to support organizational objectives, including but not limited to patient safety/customer satisfaction, short and long range planning, budgeting, and employee administration, increasing revenue with control of costs, marketing and allocation of resources. Coordinates all Information Technology projects within Radiology to provide the highest level of technical support available for imaging services. Coordinates special projects as identified to meet targeted objectives of volume growth, service delivery or patient safety. Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3+ year’s clinical experience, with an additional 5 years in health care management
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Current licensure as an ARRT
  • Demonstrated competence in leadership and management, successful project planning, fiscal and analytical skills with excellence in verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in business or health administration or a health‑related field preferred
