Clearly communicates and enforces company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies, procedures, department goals and business strategy. Addresses employee performance issues, coaches for improvement and provides ongoing feedback. Uses EOS data to improve the workplace, listens and responds to employees, recognizes and rewards individual and team performance. Consistently follows company policies, procedures and industry regulations, maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records, and completes performance reviews timely. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience in Public Areas, Housekeeping, Maintenance or related services preferred.
  • NJ CER REQUIRED

Responsibilities

  • Conducting frequent inspections of all Casino areas in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Determine times for heavy cleaning in Public and Casino Areas, and assign special projects and follow up on completion of same.
  • Assists and is fully responsible for all public areas in the absence of the Shift Manager.
  • Directs maintenance program to ensure clean and attractive public area casino/hotel environment.
  • Must be cognizant of the rules and regulations contained in the Local 54 contract in order that disciplinary matters may be handled correctly.
  • Establishes standards and procedures for ensuring cleaning needs and adequate services.
  • Responsible for the training, supervision and development of the entire staff for all shift related duties and responsibilities.
  • Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements within area of responsibility.
  • Must have Security escort when accessing restricted areas.
  • Assists with the inventory of all Public Housekeeping stock.
  • Completes special assignments for upper management as requested.
