Supervisor Production

GROWSCAPEMiddlefield Village, OH

About The Position

Why this role matters: You’re the person who makes the shift run. When the line is humming, quality is dialed in, and your crew is firing on all cylinders — that’s your handiwork. We’re looking for a Production Supervisor who doesn’t just manage a shift but owns it: the output, the safety culture, the development of every person on the floor. If you’ve built your career in manufacturing and you’re ready to lead a team where your decisions have a direct, visible impact every single day — keep reading. Job Purpose: You’ll run daily shift production across assigned departments, driving results in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. That means you’re on the floor — troubleshooting process issues, coaching operators, verifying production data against work orders, and making sure every product leaving the line meets spec. You’ll lead daily toolbox meetings, train new employees, oversee routine equipment maintenance, and hold your team accountable through coaching and corrective action when needed. You’ll track and improve KPIs, enforce lockout/tagout and forklift safety protocols, champion 5S, and support focused work teams. Admin work comes with the territory too — production reporting, schedule compliance, performance reviews, and keeping paperwork accurate and current. This is a hands-on leadership role. You set the tone, you model the standard, and you build the kind of shift culture people actually want to show up to.
