Reporting to the Manager of Operations, the Supervisor, Production is responsible for leading and developing a team of production associates while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations in the mixing, filling, and packaging of chemical products. This role is part of the Operations Team, and will be on-site in Elk Grove Village, IL.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Chemistry, or a related field
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (chemical manufacturing environment preferred).
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, Word)
  • Availability to support flexible scheduling, as business needs require.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Oracle, ADP, Lean Manufacturing, DBS, or TPS is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire your team by supervising, coaching, and developing production associates, while enabling strategic initiatives that support employee growth, skill development, and operational excellence
  • Ensure product excellence by conducting precise laboratory testing of finished goods following established work instructions
  • Support plant‑level and company‑wide strategic initiatives by driving improvements in productivity, service levels, and operational execution at the production level
  • Keep operations on track by monitoring production processes through hourly and daily management systems
  • Solve challenges by troubleshooting equipment issues and escalating when needed to maintain smooth production flow
  • Champion safety and quality by enforcing plant safety standards and always ensuring ISO compliance
  • Drive performance and results by tracking team metrics using data entry and analysis tools to identify opportunities for improvement.
