About The Position
To direct, plan, organize and motivate all personnel and testing done at the Point of Care within Heritage Valley Health System. Monitors conformance to requirements to provide quality laboratory testing for inpatients, outpatients, out-reach, and the community. Ensures the competency of the personnel assigned to this testing.
Requirements
- (Clinical lab) B.S. Degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science or Medical Technology, from an accredited institution with four years of laboratory experience and preferred MT/MLS certification by A.S.C.P. OR H.E.W. certification with 5 years clinical laboratory experience
- Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.
Nice To Haves
- Four years of clinical laboratory experience in the designated area of responsibility.
