Requirements

• a. B.S., B.A., or Associate's degree in Business, plus two (2) years registration experience or equivalent receivables/management experience, OR; b. High school diploma or equivalent, plus five (5) years registration experience or two (2) years supervisory experience.
• Ability to train and direct employees.
• Ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated knowledge of billing, insurance verification, and collection procedures, and a general knowledge of computers and computer systems.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees operations of registration activities for multiple patient types and multiple shifts of employees within the Patient Access department.
• Assists the Manager in the overall direction and control of the registration functions, operations, and personnel.
• Responsible for ensuring standards for quality and productivity are met.
• Works closely with the Business Office to coordinate activities such as insurance verification and pre-certification of admissions, pre-registration, collections at or before admission, and patient billing inquiries.
