About The Position

Under the direction of the Manager VI – Community Outreach, you will supervise staff, programs, and activities while ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality experiences.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree and one year of supervision experience in school or leisure programs.
  • Skilled in planning, organizing, training staff, and building effective relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid Indiana Driver's License if using City vehicle.
  • First Aid & CPR within 2 weeks of employment (provided by City).
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of applicable drug screening, physical examination, and background checks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach staff while managing daily operations and field activities.
  • Plan and schedule sites, field trips, and special programs; coordinate with other city programs and local agencies.
  • Monitor supplies, inventory, and equipment; update manuals and distribute materials.
  • Conduct staff evaluations, track attendance, and oversee timecards.
  • Ensure safety, dress code compliance, and smooth execution of events and activities.
  • Supervise up to 12 staff, adapting methods as needed.
