A day in the life of a Training Supervisor at VF looks a little like this. You will lead the development, coordination, and execution of training programs that support efficient, safe, and high-performing operations across the Distribution Center. You’ll partner with leaders, floor trainers, and cross-functional teams to ensure associates have the tools, knowledge, and support necessary to succeed. Requirements

  • Communication Excellence: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present to and moderate large groups. (Bilingual Spanish preferred.)
  • Training & Facilitation: Demonstrated ability to design, conduct, evaluate, and continuously improve training programs.
  • Leadership: Proven experience coaching, developing, and motivating employees to achieve performance goals.
  • Planning & Organization: Ability to proactively plan, schedule, and execute multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collaboration: Strong listening skills and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and translate insights into actionable training strategies.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using WMS (PkMS), SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Generally 2+ years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting large‑scale quality, safety, or productivity improvement initiatives.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with departments such as Operations, HR, and Engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure they meet DC standards.
  • Evaluate and update existing training programs, recommending process enhancements as business needs evolve.
  • Lead new hire onboarding, including orientation and long-term engagement programs designed to increase productivity and retention.
  • Analyze production, quality, and efficiency data to identify training gaps and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Provide daily leadership, coaching, and direction to floor trainers and assist in building training capability across the DC.
  • Generate, interpret, and review DC/Labor Management (LM) reports to support throughput goals.
  • Ensure full compliance with VF policies and procedures and always maintain a “tour-ready” facility.
  • Support operational projects related to safety, quality, productivity, and associate development.
