Job Description: POSITION PURPOSE The Operations Training Supervisor (OTS) will assess, develop, and sustain the associate and frontline leadership training systems for multiple value streams, sub-plants or site. This position is critical to the work readiness, skill building, and retention of new shop floor associates, as well as frontline leadership readiness and continued development. The OTS is a partner to value stream leaders, talent acquisition and human resources in supporting the stability of the tier 1 workforce. This supervisor will build and support the training infrastructure, as well as lead, develop and coach operations training specialists, training team leads, line trainers and others who execute the training system. The OTS will play a significant role in the development of potential and current frontline leaders, with a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion across all programming.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in leading others, planning and providing work direction, and training system execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Associates Degree or relevant certification or professional development (industrial skills training, adult education, vocational training, instructional design, leadership development)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience creating and delivering in-person skills training
  • Experience and commitment in working with a multi-cultural, multi-lingual workforce
  • Highly skilled in communication, collaboration, and in-room facilitation.
  • Experience in working directly with, and influencing, business leaders to build and resource training systems

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-lingual and multi-cultural experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assesses, develops, sustains and improves associate training systems across multiple value streams aligned with business demands, production stability and growth.
  • Develops, coaches and deploys diverse training teams, including day to day guidance and leadership, across multiple value streams to execute new associate orientation and 30-60-90 day skills training to assure workforce readiness.
  • Supports inclusive development methods that build a diverse pipeline of frontline leadership talent and continue the growth of in-role talent.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
