About The Position

The Supervisor of Transfer Agency Operations leads a team responsible for reconciliations, reporting, payment processing, and issue resolution. This role oversees a broad range of financial matters impacting alternative and mutual fund clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established policies and internal controls. The Supervisor of Transfer Agency Operations is responsible for managing daily operations, monitoring client deliverables, and meeting deadlines across a team with varying levels of experience in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3- 5 years financial industry experience ideally in transfer agency, investor services, or with a wire house
  • Career oriented, highly motivated, and self-starting individual
  • Problem solving and numerical reasoning skills; ability to analyze data and act
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in use of tools such as word processing, JIRA, Chorus/AWD, TA2000, 3270, and Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day shareholder accounting operations, including reconciliations, reporting, and transaction processing
  • Manage ACH transactions, shareholder and international wires, and custody-related transfers, including reporting to custody and fund accounting teams
  • Supervise the reconciliation and research of money movement activity, trading activity, fund sponsor/wirehouse sales logs, and bank accounts
  • Establish procedures, project plans, and coordinate work as needed between transfer agency teams
  • Work with various transfer agency systems to enhance processes and create automation as needed
  • Acts as the first point of escalation for complex transactions, discrepancies, or risk‑related issues
  • Supports employee training and development while monitoring workload distribution and deadlines
  • Partners with management to support operational goals, process improvements, and quality outcomes
