The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and at least 2 years of housekeeping/laundry experience in a healthcare setting. Requirements

Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
Two years housekeeping/laundry experience in healthcare setting
Must be able to read and understand standard English
Effective customer service skills
Compassion towards our patients and residents

Nice To Haves

Supervisory experience
Bi-lingual Spanish

Responsibilities

Ensure cleanliness of building includes sanitizing, trash removal, floor care, and more
Creates and maintains safe working conditions for all
Ensures laundry cleaned properly, clean linens are distributed, and personal clothing retuned according to schedule
Ensures all housekeeping and laundry personnel are familiar with and follow all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures
Keeps accurate inventory of all supplies and equipment and orders more as needed
Supervises/coaches laundry, housekeeping and floor care assistants
Ensures adequate staffing to meet facility needs including hands-on responsibilities when needed
Participates in center meetings for leaders
Keeps administrator informed of housekeeping and laundry operations, problems, and suggested solutions
Other duties as assigned
