Supervisor of Food Services
About The Position
The Boardman Local School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Supervisor of Food Services effective immediately. The Supervisor of Food Services is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing all cafeteria functions for the Boardman School System. It is the function of the Supervisor of Food Services to manage and conduct the cafeteria business affairs physically and fiscally according to State and Federal laws, rules, and regulations governing the cafeterias. This position is covered by an administrative/supervisory contract for 261 days per year and 7 hours per day. The Board offers a very attractive benefits package. Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Requirements
- An Associate Degree from an accredited educational institution in food service and nutrition or related course of study is required or have at least 5 years of school food service management.
- Experience in implementing the Healthy, Hunger-Free Act, 2010 nutrition standards in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast programs is essential.
- Financial management skills relative to Child Nutrition programs and the knowledge to analyze program costs and produce a profitable operation is necessary.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in organizing and supervising a food service program with demonstrated success in providing healthful, nutritious school meals is desired.
