We are searching for a Nurse Supervisor at the TCP Medical Group Clinic - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. Requirements

  • Diploma in Nursing or Asociate's Degree in Nursing required
  • BLS from American Heart Association required
  • 1 year experience as a staff nurse OR 1 year experiemce as an LVN required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing prerferred
  • 1 year supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervises and evaluates clinical staff to ensure optimal level of job performance for the consistent delivery of safe, highquality patient care and customer service.
  • Schedules staff based on practice need and budget.
  • Directs clinical staff in the provision of patient care; maintaining professional nursing standards and adhering to TCP policies, procedures and recommendations
  • Monitors and ensures patient flow through the practice
  • Orients staff, as appropriate, and submits paperwork in accordance with TCP policies and established timeframes
  • Assists provider, as directed, during treatments, examinations and testing within scope of position
  • Assists in the collection of patient/family data that may include biophysical, psychosocial, developmental, cultural, and environmental information per practice protocol
  • Engages in collaborative quality improvement efforts and utilization of current research or best practice findings in nursing practice
  • Identify patients eligible for Vaccines for Children Program and follow procedures for accurate documentation and management for this state funded program
