About The Position

The MRI Supervisor is responsible for supervising department clinical operations. The supervisor will maintain daily operational leadership for staffing and assignments for the clinical personnel as well as participate in hiring, staff development, and termination of department personnel. Provide daily oversight of technical and IT operations for all locations. Maintains departmental accreditation, as applicable. Provides oversight for department educational programs. Additionally, this role will function as a professional medical imaging technologist and will perform testing procedures as needed, utilizing their extensive background, knowledge and expertise. Ensures the provision of high-quality services in accordance with Medical Center and regulatory requirements. Assists the Manager in financial, capital and human resources to ensure services meet established quality and productivity standards and takes corrective action as necessary. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served. Develops, implements, and ensures adherence to policies and procedures in order to ensure compliance with Medical Center and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in radiologic sciences
  • 3-5 years of imaging experience with at least 2 years of MRI experience
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) advanced certification with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • American Heart Association Basic life support (BLS)
  • Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
