Job Summary: Supervises front-line team responsible for efficiently ordering and maintaining inventory within the healthcare facility. Oversees and manages daily operations of supply chain, staff, and maintenance of appropriate periodic automatic replacement (PAR) levels for items stocked in area/s assigned. Manages and maintains supply stock, as well as assists in documentation, as needed. Coordinates and maintains the supply system ensuring that it operates in a fiscally sound and efficient manner by managing supplies and equipment from acquisition to disposition. Ensures that essential medical supplies and equipment are readily available to support patient care and healthcare operations. Coordinates small program(s) with limited budget/impact. Trains new supply chain employees on departmental tasks and workflows and supports peer employees in issue identification and resolution. Takes on project assignments specific to improving supply chain workflows.
