About The Position

Basic Function HF Sinclair is seeking a Supervisor Maintenance in El Dorado,KS who will be responsible to oversee certain functions and activities of the Maintenance Department, supervising and coordinating activities of assigned staff, and resolving problems and issues as they arise under limited supervision. Job Duties Oversees quality of work, safety, and overall performance of assigned staff Gives work direction to assigned employees in assigned area Evaluates assigned employees’ job performance Assists engineering as needed Coordinates with operations in scheduling equipment for repairs, and construction (depending on assignment) May be required to do some or all of the following: Track head count and verify timesheets to ensure cost and schedule compliance Perform on-call duties Issue confined space work permits

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of related on-the-job experience.
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience, is required.
Basic knowledge of refinery operations.
Specific craft knowledge.
Good interpersonal skills, self-starter and safety sensitive.
Troubleshooting skills and ability to function effectively in a team atmosphere.
Some experience working with job related equipment is essential.

Nice To Haves

Energy industry experience.
May require special training depending on craft and location: Eng Was (188 Montana) Station Configuration/Fiber Optics, Electrical & Instrumentation, Laser alignment, compressors, welding and equipment operation.
May require certification in any or all of the following depending on craft and location: Certification in Level II ISA, Journeyman Electrical License, Crane and Rigging Inspector Certification, etc., Measurement & Controls, Fundamental of Management/Supervisor, Control System & P/C geared for ABB (Bailey)(188 Montana) Configuration.
