About The Position

General Summary Manage and coordinate hourly reliability planning and control, storeroom operation and maintenance services.

Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in paper industry.
• Management experience.
• Experience at a supervisory level in a process industry.
• Experience to include supervision of both salaried and hourly employees.
• Broad knowledge of pulp and paper operations with experience in computer systems, material handling and administration.
• Organizational development.
• Maintenance planning and scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving ability and demonstrated leadership qualities.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment and act promptly to deal with safety issues and concerns.
• Communicate and implement company practices relaying to personnel policy, quality assurance, and safety regulations.
• Procure and coordinate maintenance contract services.
• Monitor yearly service agreements.
• Provide input for the annual repair budget and administer its documentation for inclusion in the overall operating plan.
• Support maintenance areas with reliability monitoring assistance and coordinate special projects.
• Coordinate with operating department to assemble information and activities for major mill outages.
• Conduct area shutdown scheduling meetings to assess activity and resource requirements.
• Exercise a leadership role in implementation of new technology and methods which support and improve the service functions provided by maintenance reliability.
