Must be able to manage a large scale landscape operation including managing payroll and budgets. Train the crews to safely cut grounds using hand, power, or riding mower for trimming edges around walkways, beds, and walls. Ensuring the sites are left to the Nouria standards. Train crews to efficiently apply fertilizer to property grounds to enhance growth and free of weeds and dead plants. Create job schedules, prioritize and assign tasks, adjust schedules as necessary in response to weather conditions or staff absences landscaping and projects. Provide crew members with on-site leadership, job instruction and ongoing coaching. Be able to operate a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to skid steers, back hoes, excavators, dump trailers, chainsaws, and other related equipment and machinery. Must be proficient with all landscaping duties including but not limited to planting trees and shrubs, planting daylilies and other flowing plants, excavation, grading, site preparation, irrigation systems, seeding, mulching of beds, salting and snow removal. Supervise landscape crews and equipment, and keep good repair, clean and ready for service, report all equipment issues to the manager. Ensure the productivity and professionalism of crew members. Order landscape material. Need for maintaining and schedule projects. Visit sites that are maintained by 3rd party providers and report any service issues to your manager. Scheduling and overseeing the Installation of required materials for landscaping/irrigation. Schedule any needed maintenance on vehicles and equipment whether utilizing the in-house team or service providers. Ensure that vehicle and equipment checklists are being filled out on a daily or weekly bases. Execute all company and industry safety policies and reporting procedures for accidents/incidents to the manager. Inspect completed work to ensure it conforms with Nouria standards.
