Supervisor Laboratory Technical
About The Position
Supervises technical and non technical activities of the assigned clinical laboratory section(s) ensuring testing operates efficiently and effectively and complies with all system and regulatory agency standards. Provides input into the development of department policies and procedures. Ensures laboratory personnel maintain current knowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures and equipment operation. Assists in meeting the business, financial, customer, service quality and regulatory requirements of the laboratory. Serves as a technical resource for department personnel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in medical technology or related fields.
- Completion of MT/MLS (medical laboratory science)/CLS (clinical laboratory science) internship
- MT (ASCP) or equivalent.
- Two years of experience in related discipline.
