Position Summary The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for supervising the Laboratory staff and workflow to meet Customer and Regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 5 years of experience in a laboratory
Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role

Responsibilities

Supervises workflow and technical staff in execution of Laboratory testing, in support of regulatory and quality system compliance to meet Customer specifications.
Mentors and develops staff for future opportunities.
Provides regular feedback to staff on performance.
Ensures purchasing of laboratory supplies meets departmental needs and approves purchase requisitions.
Identifies operational opportunities for improvement to efficiency, quality and/or cost.
Participates in the interview process for open positions, makes recommendations for hiring.
Evaluates procedures and executes Document Change Orders.
Initiates and executes Quality System Investigations, Customer Dissatisfactions and Corrective actions as required by procedure.
